Lapland Hospitality Housekeeping Apprenticeship, Vocational Qualification in Tourism Industry: Cleaning services for hotels and accommodation facilities, 20 cp and Working in an international work environment, 15 cp.
Gain essential housekeeping skills for the hospitality industry, including cleaning methods, equipment, hygiene, quality standards, and workplace ergonomics. The training also strengthens communication and teamwork skills for working in an international tourism environment. During the training, you will complete two units of the Vocational Qualification in Tourism Industry: Cleaning services for hotels and accommodation facilities, (20 competence points) and Working in an international work environment (15 competence points).
The training will begin as apprenticeship training on 28.10.2026. The duration of the training is from October 2026 to February 2027 depending on the student’s personal plan. Contact teaching will be organized on October and November. The schedule will be announced at a later date. Altogether there will be 4 contact teaching days. In addition, the training includes first aid training, which will be completed on separate days. The location for contact teaching is Kittilä, but you can join from anywhere in Lapland!
