Season in Levi

Lapland UAS is launching a new pilot to combine studies, practical training and working in Levi environment. 

To whom?

  • 2nd and 3rd year students
  • Business, hospitality and sports

What?

  • Practical trainings in local businesses
  • Work-based learning in Levi based company
  • Working alongside studies
  • Pilot student group gatherings

 

Arrangements

You can complete part of your studies through work‑based learning and work within the same organization (Competence Demonstration via Working). Pilot gives you a unique opportunity to combine your studies with fell experiences and a new adventure.

Possible tasks in companies:

  • Comprehensive resort operations
  • Accommodation and restaurant operations
  • Marketing and communications
  • Food tourism
  • Infrastructure development
  • Floor care and property maintenance
  • Sales services
  • Productization of tourism services and event planning
  • Technical services related to sleds (maintenance, spare parts sales)

The possible salary and other possible personnel benefits of the internship are agreed directly with the partner company. The work tasks in the companies are determined in cooperation with the students’ interests and the company. 

Some of the companies interested in the collaboration can offer accommodation in their staff housing. The Levi Campus team also supports students in finding accommodation when needed.
